In our work, we focus on systems transformation: Strengthening entire systems via coordinated improvements in leadership, workforce, operations, and program implementation. We categorize this systems transformation work into five areas:
• Workforce and leadership development: Assessing and developing leadership and professional/clinical skills to improve administration and operation. Addressing workforce burnout and improving staff retention. Facilitating workforce culture change and capacity building.
• Operational optimization: Assessing and identifying improving behavioral health operations. Improving access bottlenecks, siloed programs, fragmented communications, inefficient workflows, and unclear roles and decision pathways. Supporting Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG)-aligned operations.
• Project implementation: Designing, managing, and delivering large-scale programs that make health and human services systems stronger and more effective.
• Technical assistance: Providing guidance, expertise, and implementation support organizations need to address complex challenges and strengthen programs over time.
ENVIVE supports organizations facing workforce shortages, leadership development needs, operational strain, system fragmentation, and the implementation of new programs or initiatives.
ENVIVE provides behavioral health consulting and systems transformation support, leadership development, workforce training, technical assistance, and implementation support for complex behavioral health initiatives.
Systems transformation is the deliberate process of assessing and strengthening behavioral health systems so they function more reliably, sustainably, and equitably.
ENVIVE understands that taking a unified, systemic approach to behavioral health systems challenges achieves more effective and sustainable results than fragmented, one-off solutions. To achieve success for our clients, we employ our Behavioral Health Systems Transformation Framework to bring people, processes, and programs into alignment with each other.
As a result of this careful alignment, leadership, workforce, operations, and initiatives function together effectively. The people who work within—and benefit from—these systems benefit.
Technical assistance provides health and human service systems with guidance, training, tools, and implementation support to strengthen programs and improve performance and outcomes.
Technical assistance hubs provide centralized support for statewide initiatives by offering training, operational guidance, tools, and coordination resources. These hubs often support programs such as Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) implementation, workforce initiatives, and other system improvement efforts.
ENVIVE partners with government agencies, healthcare and human service systems, public health organizations, behavioral health providers, and community-based organizations working to strengthen behavioral health systems and services.
